BENSON HENDERSON VS. FRANKIE EDGAR
Mike Johnston: Henderson by submission. Let’s get one thing straight, the first fight was not controversial and the rematch will be even more one-sided. Edgar has never been finished but if Bendo locks in a guillotine this time he might not escape.
Carlin Bardsley: Henderson by submission. Bendo has been extra motivated after Edgar said he “stole a decision.” He will catch Edgar and send him down to the 145-pound division.
Dwight Wakabayashi: Edgar by decision. Vicious up-kick aside, Edgar won their first fight in my opinion and he is more hungry to avenge the loss than Henderson is to defend. Edgar takes the decision and takes the belt back.
Ryan Young: Henderson by decision. Bigger, stronger and more athletic. Edgar is a lot of things, including awesome in rematches, but he’s none of the above against Bendo.

DONALD CERRONE VS. MELVIN GUILLARD
Mike Johnston: Cerrone by decision. Although his ground game is vastly superior, Cerrone told me that he plans on picking Guillard apart on the feet.
Carlin Bardsley: Guillard by decision. Cerrone seems far too focused on Anthony Pettis. Guillard’s speed and power will land him the upset.
Dwight Wakabayashi: Cerrone. Melvin has one way to win this fight, while Cowboy has many. I think Cowboy’s well-rounded game takes Guillard out in a finish
Ryan Young: Cerrone by submission. I believe these two when they say they’ll stand and strike, but when Guillard drops expect Cowboy” to follow him to the mat and finish.

JAKE SHIELDS VS. ED HERMAN
Mike Johnston: Herman by TKO. The TUF 3 finalist is on a roll and extremely underrated. He told me he’s not worried about Shields’ ground game. Herman’s tenacity will be the difference.
Carlin Bardsley: Herman by TKO. Shields has underachieved since his UFC debut and a move up to 185 pounds will just mean he gets hit harder. Herman will work a furious pace to take Shields out.
Dwight Wakabayashi: Shields. I think Jake is motivated to get back to the status he once had and he will be too much for Herman to handle. He takes Herman down and brutalizes him from the top.
Ryan Young: Shields by submission. Tougher matchup than I think most people are giving credit. That being said, Shields still finds a way to get it to the ground where he’s best.
