For the second straight weekend, Sportsnet is your home for an entire UFC card.
UFC Live: Browne vs. Bigfoot takes place Friday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis and Sportsnet will have six hours of live UFC fights, starting with the one-hour live stream of two early preliminary fights at 4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT.
The televised card will then air on Sportsnet ONE, starting with the undercard at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT, followed by the main card at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
In the main event, the fast-rising Travis Browne meets veteran Antonio (Bigfoot) Silva in another five-round heavyweight affair. Last week, Stefan Struve fought Stipe Miocic in a bout between heavyweight contenders that was scheduled for five rounds but saw Struve stop Miocic in the second frame.
Browne is unbeaten and looking to move into top contention, while Silva had been on a three-fight win streak in Strikeforce but has dropped two straight, including a TKO loss to No. 1 contender Cain Velasquez in his UFC debut in May.
Also on the main card is a bout between John Dodson and Jussier da Silva to determine the first challenger to newly-crowned flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, as well as a couple of welterweight tilts — Jake Ellenberger faces Jay Hieron, and Justin Edwards meets Josh Neer.
The six-fight televised undercard begins with a flyweight battle between Darren Uyenoyama and Phil Harris, and it will conclude with lightweight matchup between Jeremy Stephens and Yves Edwards.
And for the hardcore UFC fan, viewers can then turn to FX Canada after the event at 10 p.m. ET for the fourth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 16 (it will air later on Sportsnet, check local listings).
