LAS VEGAS — Welteweight Diego Sanchez will face off against Martin (Hitman) Kampmann in a televised UFC Live card March 3 in Louisville, marking the UFC’s first foray into Kentucky.

In the co-main event at the KFC Yum! Center, middleweight Mark (The Filipino Wrecking Machine) Munoz (9-2) meets C.B. (The Doberman) Dollaway (12-3).

Sanchez (24-4) is coming off an October win over Paulo Thiago that earned fight of the night honours. Kampmann (17-4) lost a split decision to Jake Shields last time out at UFC 121 in October.

“Both of these guys feel they belong at the top of the welterweight division and they’ll have a chance to prove it on March 3,” UFC president Dana White said in a release Thursday. “The same goes for Munoz and Dolloway. They push the pace and look to finish fights and both want to fight the best middleweights out there.”
