It's (NBA All-Star) Saturday night! A mix of basketball's brightest stars and a few lesser-known names took part competitions that put their skill, creativity and the aesthetic craft that defines their games to the test.
First Damian Lillard tied an NBA record by winning a third 3-Point Contest. He also tied the record for most points in a final round and did it all while recovering from an Achilles injury. Then NBA legends Corey Maggette and Allan Houston put on a show as Team Knicks won the revitalized Shooting Stars competition. Keshad Johnson took home the Slam Dunk contest crown in the grand finale after rookie Carter Bryant whiffed on his final attempt.
