Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Toronto Raptors with a non-COVID related illness.
The two-time MVP is averaging 27.9 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 31 games this season.
Meanwhile, Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer has entered the league’s COVID-19 protocols and will also miss Wednesday’s game, sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Assistant coach Darvin Ham will serve as acting head coach.
Milwaukee’s five-game winning streak came to an end on Monday when the Bucks lost 115-106 to the Detroit Pistons at home.
The Bucks (25-14) sit in the third place in the Eastern Conference.
