The Boston Celtics will be without Tristan Thompson, Grant Williams and Robert Williams against the Washington Wizards Friday because of health and safety protocols.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the players are required to quarantine for seven days as part of the NBA’s contact tracing program. Carsen Edwards, who was initially listed as questionable, will be available for Boston.
The Celtics have run into a tough string of injuries recently, with Jeff Teague questionable with a left ankle sprain while starting point guard Kemba Walker and Romeo Langford also remain sidelined.
