The Los Angeles Lakers will get some reinforcement as they look to avoid a sweep at the hands of the Denver Nuggets in back-to-back seasons.
Christian Wood is available to play for Los Angeles, head coach Darvin Ham confirmed before Game 4 tipped-off. Wood, 28, hasn't played since Feb. 14 as he's been recovering from left knee surgery.
Prior to the absence, the 6-foot-8 forward had suited up in 50 games for the Lakers, averaging 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds.
Los Angeles is looking for any way to inject some life into their first-round series against Denver, and will be hoping that Wood can provide that spark. The Lakers are down 3-0 despite having led each game by double digits at some point.
Game 4 tips off on Saturday as the Lakers look to snap an 11-game losing streak to the Nuggets and keep their post-season hopes alive.
