The Los Angeles Clippers have officially re-signed Kawhi Leonard, the team announced Thursday.

Terms of the deal were not officially disclosed by the club. However, according to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the deal is a four-year contract that includes a player option.

Leonard's new contract will be worth a total of $176.3 million, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The five-time all-star averaged 24.8 points per game over 34.1 minutes last season before suffering an ACL injury in the Western Conference semifinals. The Clippers eventually advanced to the Western Conference finals where they lost to the Phoenix Suns in six games.

Leonard joined the Clippers as a free agent in the summer of 2019, mere weeks after lifting the Larry O'Brien Trophy with the Toronto Raptors.
