It's been over a year and a half since Kawhi Leonard left the Toronto Raptors for his hometown Los Angeles Clippers. But the real reason for his departure from the team where he won his second NBA championships has remained elusive -- till now.

In a Wednesday night appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, host Jimmy Kimmel asked the Clippers star what the disadvantages are to having huge hands? To which Leonard answered with a laugh, that he can't even put his hands in his own pockets.

The revelation about Leonard's struggles with his massive mitts prompted this follow-up question from Kimmel: "Wait a minute, is that why you left Toronto because your hands were cold?"

"Man, I couldn't find gloves that fit me," Leonard replied with a rare smile.

I mean, his nickname is the "Klaw" for a reason.

And while Leonard may be among the best basketball players in the world, trivia does not seem to be his forte.

In another segment, the two-time Finals MVP struggled taking questions from famous Clippers fan Billy Crystal about the actor's movie career.
