Edwards' slam over Watanabe praised as Dunk of the Year candidate

Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards makes his case for dunk of the year as he gets up for enormous slam on Toronto Raptors forward Yuta Watanabe.

It had already been an exciting night in the NBA, with both Jamal Murray and Joel Embiid scoring 50 points in separate games.

Then Anthony Edwards came out of nowhere to make it electric.

With time running down in the third quarter, Edwards elevated from the baseline and slammed home a thunderous dunk over Yuta Watanabe. The Toronto Raptors forward may never be the same.
