Memphis Grizzlies centre Jonas Valanciunas has entered the league’s health and safety protocols and will not play on Monday against the Phoenix Suns, the team announced Sunday.
The former Toronto Raptors big man is among the wide swath of players who have entered the protocols as the league continues its battle with the novel coronavirus and its affects.
Valanciunas is averaging 14.4 points, 10.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists on 53.2 per cent shooting through 12 games played this season.
