New York Knicks forward Julius Randle has been fined $50,000 for initiating an on-court altercation with Phoenix Suns forward Cam Johnson, the league announced on Sunday.
Randle was also fined for "making contact with a game official" and for "non-compliance with an NBA investigation."
The incident occurred during the third quarter of Friday's game between the Knicks and Suns. Randle was assessed two technical fouls and was ejected. Johnson received a technical foul for his involvement.
