Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel announced Anthony Davis will make his return to the lineup against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, ESPN's Dave McMenamin reports.

Davis will be playing on a minutes restriction, sources tell Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Davis has been out with an MCL sprain and hasn't suited up since Dec. 17 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 10-year veteran is averaging 23.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in the 27 games he's played this season.
