Lakers' LeBron James to be game-time decision vs. Celtics

NBA insider Marc Stein joins Sportsnet Central to discuss why he's concerned for both the Lakers and the Nets, and why it's hard not to buy into the Warriors hype, as they're looking more and more like the championship teams of the past.

Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel announced LeBron James will be a game-time decision for Friday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

James has been sidelined with an abdominal strain that has kept him out of the lineup since Nov. 2.

The 19-year veteran has played six games in the 2021-22 season, averaging 24.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, seven assists, and 2.3 steals while shooting 46.7 per cent from the field.

The Lakers (8-8) hold a 4-2 record in the six contests James has appeared in.

You can watch the Lakers take on the Celtics on Sportsnet and SN NOW beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET/ 4:30 p.m. PT.
