The Los Angeles Lakers will be without superstar LeBron James for Sunday's clash with the Portland Trail Blazers as the 38-year-old forward has been ruled out with a left calf contusion, the team announced.
It's the first game James will miss this season.
In his 21st NBA season, James is averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists through the Lakers' first nine games.
The Lakers are 4-5 and sit eighth in the Western Conference.
Lakers forward Anthony Davis was listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game, but is expected to play.
You can watch Davis and the rest of the Lakers take on Canada's Shaedon Sharpe and the Trail Blazers on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
