LeBron James will return to the Los Angeles Lakers' lineup on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers after missing the last six games with an ankle injury.
Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder will also play for the Lakers as the team looks to avoid the Western Conference play-in tournament. Davis missed L.A.'s last game with groin tightness while Schroder has been out for seven games due to the league's health and safety protocols.
The Lakers went 4-2 during James's latest absence from the team. The four-time MVP initially missed 20 games after suffering a high ankle sprain on March 20. He returned for a pair of games, losses to Sacramento and Toronto, before the lingering ankle injury forced him back to the sidelines.
Currently seventh in the Western Conference standings, Los Angeles (40-30) needs to win the final two games of its regular season and for Denver to beat Portland on Sunday to avoid the Western Conference play-in tournament.
