The Philadelphia 76ers' wallet just got a little thinner.
The NBA fined the 76ers $100,000 on Wednesday for an injury-report violation surrounding Joel Embiid.
Embiid was listed as out on an initial injury report ahead of a Nov. 30 game against the Atlanta Hawks, but wound up playing.
Atlanta won the game 142-134 in double overtime.
Per the NBA, the fine accounted for the 76ers' history of violating injury reporting rules.
Embiid did sit out Tuesday against Washington. The 76ers play again Thursday against Golden State.
