In addition to his team suffering a four-game losing streak, Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown is also out $35,000.
The league announced Tuesday that they fined the bench boss for "aggressively pursuing a game official during live play," in the Kings' 130-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday.
The incident happened in the second quarter after what appeared to be a missed foul call. An incensed Brown immediately hunted down an official and had to be held back by team members. The coach was assessed a technical foul at the time.
The 2023 NBA coach of the year has led the Kings to an 8-10 record, good for 12th in the Eastern Conference.
The Kings next play the 8-8 Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
