Wednesday's game between the Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks has been postponed due to the impact of a powerful snowstorm in Dallas, the NBA announced Tuesday.

The game will be rescheduled at a later date.

In lieu of the Pistons-Mavericks game, the NBA announced later on Tuesday that the Pistons will face the Chicago Bulls at United Center on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. The Bulls had their game against the Charlotte Hornets postponed earlier on Tuesday after four members of the San Antonio Spurs tested positive for COVID-19.

The matchup between the Pistons and the Bulls was originally planned for the second half of the season before Tuesday's rescheduling.

Two Dallas Stars games originally scheduled at American Airlines Center were also postponed due to the severe winter weather.
