The NBA Draft Lottery gives the best odds to the teams that finish with the worst records during the regular season.
The 14 non-playoff teams (or those that have acquired their picks) will cross their fingers during the lottery on May 12 in Chicago. The first round of the draft will be on June 25.
The Toronto Raptors are now confirmed to have the seventh-best odds. The San Antonio Spurs' win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday locked Toronto into the No. 7 spot.
The Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz and Charlotte Hornets are assured of having the top odds following Friday's games.
Here's a look at the current standings in the race for top odds, details for the lottery and scores and future games that affect the teams at the bottom of the standings.
* These picks are protected, meaning the teams keep the selections unless they fall below a certain number. Utah, Charlotte, Miami and Portland picks are protected 1-14, Washington is 1-10 and Philadelphia is 1-6.
DRAFT-LOTTERY DETAILS
• The odds for the No. 1 pick are accurate if there are no ties in the final standings. If there are ties, the NBA will conduct a tie-breaker through a random draw and the odds will change slightly.
• The first four picks are determined by a drawing of balls. Picks 5-14 are then determined by record (with worst remaining record starting at 5).
• Houston and Atlanta's picks are based on the record of teams they acquired the selections from.
