Brooklyn Nets star guard James Harden is available to return to play on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs, coach Steve Nash told reporters.
Harden missed the last 18 games with a strained right hamstring. Nash added that he will have a minutes restriction in his return, as the team tries to be cautious in bringing him back into the fold.
However, Brooklyn's other star guard, Kyrie Irving, will sit out Wednesday's game after taking an elbow to the face on Tuesday. Nash says that Irving has been cleared to return for the Nets' back-to-back contests against the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 31-year-old Harden was averaging over 25 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds with a 46.3 field-goal percentage before sustaining the injury.
Brooklyn has a 45-24 record, good for second place in the NBA's Eastern Conference.
