Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant will miss at least two games with a left hamstring strain, the team announced Sunday.
It's unclear when Durant was injured, but the team said in a statement the diagnosis came after an evaluation on Sunday. He had 20 points in 33 minutes against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
This will be the third time this season Durant will miss games for the Nets after two earlier stints in the NBA's COVID-19 protocols.
Durant remains one of the top scorers in the NBA despite missing all of the 2019-20 season with an Achilles tendon injury. In 18 games, the 32-year-old is averaging 29 points on 52 per cent shooting.
The Nets continue a West Coast road trip this week against the Sacramento Kings on Monday, Phoenix Suns on Tuesday and Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.
