Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons will be out for a second consecutive game and will not play against the Chicago Bulls, the team announced on Tuesday.
Simmons has dealt with knee and back issues over the years and had surgery in 2020 to remove a loose body in his left knee, and was ruled out by the team for Monday’s game against the Indiana Pacers due to left knee soreness.
Simmons is averaging 6.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists in six games with Brooklyn this season, and played 36 minutes in the Nets' matchup against the Pacers on Saturday, scoring nine points in the loss.
