Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s Game 3 against the Los Angeles Clippers with a right wrist sprain, the team announced.
After getting blown out by the Clippers in Game 1, the Nuggets rebounded in Game 2 and rode Jokic’s monstrous line of 28 points, 18 rebounds, four assists and three blocks to a 110–101 victory.
If the Nuggets hope to have any real chance in the series, they will need Jokic on the floor, who is now getting an opportunity to excel against Los Angeles’ bigs after wrestling with two-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert in round one.
Should the 25-year-old be kept off the floor, backup centre Mason Plumlee would likely start in his place.
Jokic did not miss a single game this past regular season.
