Indiana Pacers guard Caris LeVert will debut with the team on Saturday night against the Phoenix Suns, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
LeVert was traded to the Indiana Pacers from the Brooklyn Nets on Jan. 14, 2021, as part of the blockbuster three-team James Harden trade between the Nets, Pacers, and Houston Rockets.
Upon receiving his physical in Indiana, a form of cancer on his kidney was detected and he immediately underwent surgery to remove the small mass.
The 2016 first-round pick averaged 18.5 points, 6.0 assists, and 4.3 rebounds on .435/.349/.765 shooting with the Nets this season.
