Tyrese Haliburton is expected to play for the Indiana Pacers when they take on the Boston Celtics in the NBA's In-Season Tournament quarterfinals on Monday, as announced by head coach Rick Carlisle.
Haliburton missed the team's last game, a win against the Miami Heat on Saturday, due to a knee injury while also dealing with an upper respiratory infection.
The guard has been vital to Indiana's league-best offence (123.6 ORTG) so far, averaging 27 points and 11.8 assists (first in the NBA) through 16 games. He leads the team in points, assists and steals per game.
Indiana will likely need a big performance from its star if the Pacers hope to advance to the tournament semifinals and get past a Boston team that sits atop the Eastern Conference.
