The Toronto Raptors have acquired the draft rights to six-foot-10 centre Ulrich Chomche from the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for cash considerations, the team officially announced Saturday.
Chomche, a native of Cameroon, was selected 57th overall by Minnesota in the 2024 NBA Draft. He appeared in 26 games with NBA Academy Africa during the 2023-24 campaign where he averaged 8.5 points and just as many rebounds while logging just over 24 minutes a game.
Born on Dec. 30, 2005, Chomche, 18, was the youngest player taken at this year’s NBA Draft.
The Raptors expect Chomche to develop in the G-League once a two-way contract is made official.
