Toronto Raptors guard Dalano Banton has been ruled out of the remainder of Wednesday's night game with the Miami Heat with a left ankle sprain.
The Raptors announced that the 23-year-old will not return as the third quarter came to a close.
Banton was starting his second game of the season on Wednesday and was coming off a career-best 27-point performance against the Detroit Pistons on Monday.
In 14 games this season, the Canadian is averaging 6.5 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists on 45.8 per cent shooting.
He had five points in 21 minutes before exiting against the Heat.
