Toronto Raptors rookie Scottie Barnes will sit out his second game in a row with a right thumb sprain on Wednesday night in Washington against the Wizards.

Barnes was hurt in Saturday's win over the Indiana Pacers.

"Just a sprain," Raptors head coach Nick Nurse said prior to Monday's win over the New York Knicks. "Don't really have a timeline on it. Doesn't seem awfully bad."

Through seven games in his young NBA career, the fourth overall pick in this year's draft is averaging 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds, and two assists per game.

With Barnes out, Svi Mykhailiuk started against the Knicks.
