RJ Barrett is ready for action.
The Canadian forward will make his return to the Toronto Raptors' lineup in Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers, the team announced.
Barrett has been out for the Raptors' last seven games after suffering a left ankle sprain on Jan. 9 against the Boston Celtics.
The 25-year-old has had a strong campaign for the Raptors when he has been available, averaging 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 49.6 per cent from the field and 35.5 per cent from three-point range.
Toronto is 16-7 with Barrett in the lineup this season, and 11-12 in games he's missed.
Meanwhile, the Raptors will once again be without rookie Collin Murray-Boyles, who was ruled out with a thumb injury. Friday will be the third straight game that Murray-Boyles has missed.
Murray-Boyles was injured in Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers when he jammed his thumb on Luka Doncic's hip.
The Raptors enter Friday's game in Portland fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 27-19 record.
