The NBA is fining Brandon Ingram for his actions during Saturday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Ingram was levied a $25,000 fine by the league on Monday "for forcibly throwing his water bottle to the floor while on the bench" during the Toronto Raptors' loss.
The incident occurred with 6:25 remaining in the third quarter and forced a delay in the action to dry the court. Ingram's throw also made contact with a game attendant.
Before heading to the bench and tossing his bottle, Ingram was called for a foul on the defensive end and limped into the crowd in visible pain. He returned to the game shortly after.
The 28-year-old ended up playing 37 minutes in the 130-120 loss, scoring 21 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out five assists.
For the season, Ingram is averaging 21.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists on 51.0 per cent shooting from the floor.
