Collin Murray-Boyles is being recognized by the NBA for his spectacular rookie season.
The Toronto Raptors' power forward was among the players named to the NBA's all-rookie second team on Wednesday.
Murray-Boyles, 20, was the Raptors' first-round pick (ninth overall) a year ago and immediately stepped in to provide some size to the lineup, especially as injuries limited centre Jakob Poeltl to just 46 games.
Murray-Boyles averaged 8.5 points, five rebounds and 1.9 assists in 57 games this season, including 22 starts. He shot 58 per cent from the field.
A panel of media members chooses the NBA's all-rookie teams, and position is not considered by the voters.
Cooper Flagg of the Dallas Mavericks won the rookie of the year award and headlines the first-team, alongside Charlotte Hornets forward Kon Knueppel and Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe.
Flagg, Knueppel and Edgecombe were unanimous first-team selections.
Also making first-team All-Rookie: San Antonio's Dylan Harper and Memphis' Cedric Coward. Harper also appeared on all 100 ballots, with 93 first-team nods and seven second-team votes.
The complete all-rookie teams are as follows
First Team

Dylan Harper, San Antonio Spurs
