Ahead of Wednesday night's season-opener, the Toronto Raptors took care of some contractual business.
The team announced on Tuesday that it has exercised the fourth-year team option on the rookie scale contract of guard-forward Gradey Dick and third-year team option of guard Ja'Kobe Walter for the 2026-27 season.
The Raptors open Year 31 for the franchise with a road tilt against the Atlanta Hawks on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet+ at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT.

Dick, 21, enters his third season in the NBA after averaging career-highs across the board with 14.4 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 29.4 minutes, before injuries cut his sophomore season short after 54 games (all starts).
The Raptors drafted the sharpshooter out of Kansas with the 13th overall pick in 2023. He's averaged 11.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 25.0 minutes in 114 career NBA games while shooting 35.6 per cent from distance in that span.
Dick will be extension eligible next season before potentially reaching restricted free agency ahead of the 2027-28 campaign.
Walter, 24, averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 21.2 minutes in 52 games (18 starts) during his rookie season in Toronto, while shooting 34.9 per cent from beyond the arc.
The Raptors drafted the guard out of Baylor with the 19th overall pick in 2024.
Toronto has a second club option on Walter's contract for the 2027-28 before he potentially reaches restricted agency ahead of 2028-29.
