The Toronto Raptors have extended qualifying offers to guards Gary Trent Jr. and Nando de Colo, the team announced Monday.

Trent Jr., who played his first two seasons with the Trail Blazers after being traded from Sacramento the night he was drafted by the Kings, averaged career-highs of 15.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 31.1 minutes in 58 games, including 38 starts, last season with Toronto and Portland.

The six-foot-five guard shot 40.8 per cent from the field, including 38.5 per cent from three-point range, and scored 20-plus points in 15 games. The Raptors acquired Trent Jr. from the Trail Blazers on March 25 along with Rodney Hood in exchange for Norman Powell.

De Colo appeared in 21 games with the Raptors during the 2013-14 season, averaging 3.1 points, 1.6 assists, 1.3 rebounds and 9.2 minutes. De Colo has played professionally overseas since leaving Toronto, most famously with CSKA Moscow before joining Fenerbahçe in 2019, winning the Turkish Cup and finishing second in the Turkish Super League with the team.
