Raptors' Kyle Lowry out a week to 10 days with right foot infection

Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse talks the status of injured point guard Kyle Lowry and when the team expects to have him back in action.

Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will miss the next seven to 10 days with a right foot infection.

According to the Raptors, the injury is the same foot issue Lowry has been dealing with for most of the season. The plan was for the 35-year-old to suit up in Oklahoma City Wednesday, but the injury did not improve overnight.

Lowry missed Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to what the team called right foot soreness but played through it in Monday's loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Also out for Wednesday's contest against the Thunder are Jalen Harris and Patrick McCaw with a right hip pointer and left knee swelling, respectively, while DeAndre' Bembry and Paul Watson remain in the NBA's health and safety protocols.
