The Toronto Raptors' injury troubles this season don’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
Power forward Jonathan Mogbo is the latest Raptor to be sidelined after sustaining what the team deemed a "facial contusion" during Tuesday's game against the Orlando Magic.
Mogbo went to the room after being hit in the face while guarding Paolo Banchero, which caused his nose to bleed. Toronto subsequently announced that he would not return to the game and was undergoing further testing.
The six-foot-nine, 23-year-old rookie has appeared in 48 games for Toronto this season with 11 starts, averaging 5.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 18.1 minutes.
The Raptors are already missing Ulrich Chomche (MCL tear, out for the season), Garrett Temple (personal reasons), Jamison Battle (nasal fracture), Ochai Agbaji (ankle), Brandon Ingram (ankle) and Gradey Dick (knee).
Following Tuesday's game, the 19-42 Raptors next play Friday against the Utah Jazz in Toronto.
