The Toronto Raptors will be without a couple key players in a crucial showdown on Friday.
Guard Immanuel Quickley and forward Collin Murray-Boyles are listed as out for the showdown against the New York Knicks, the team announced before Friday's game.
Quickley, who has been dealing with plantar fasciitis and only returned this week, will miss the game as the team continues to manage the right-foot injury.
The 26-year-old guard is averaging 16.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists this season but saw his averages drop after scoring three points in his return Tuesday and 11 in the rematch against the Heat on Thursday.
He had missed eight games with the injury, with the team going 4-4 in his absence.
Murray-Boyles, meanwhile, is dealing with a neck sprain. It's unclear how or when the rookie forward may have suffered the injury, but he played 22 minutes in Thursday's win over the Heat, finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block. He shot a perfect seven-for-seven from the field.
The 20-year-old has dealt with a handful of injuries this season, most notably missing sporadic chunks of the year with a lingering thumb issue.
On the season, the ninth overall pick from last year's draft is averaging 8.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks.
Heading into Friday's action, the Raptors are fifth in the East with a 45-35 record, but are still jockeying for position in a crowded part of the conference. The sixth-seed Hawks have the same 45-35 record, while the seventh-seed Magic are a game back.
