The Toronto Raptors will be without a popular pick-and-roll combination against the Utah Jazz on Monday.
Immanuel Quickley and Jakob Poeltl have been ruled out against the Jazz, the Raptors announced on Monday.
Quickley will miss the contest with plantar fasciitis in his right foot and Poeltl will sit on the second night of a back-to-back to manage the lower-back injury that has plagued him since training camp, holding him out for 35 of the Raptors' 70 games, including a 24-game stretch in the middle of the season.
Collin Murray-Boyles is available for the game after missing multiple games with the left-thumb sprain that he first sustained on Dec. 15 against the Miami Heat.
The promising 20-year-old rookie has re-aggravated the injury multiple times, first when Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic whacked his left thumb while going for a steal in January and again in February against the Indiana Pacers.
Both Quickley's and Poeltl's play has ebbed and flowed throughout the season, but they have been playing their best basketball of late.
Poeltl, 30, was averaging 13 points and 9.6 rebounds in March entering play on Sunday, up from his averages of 10.4 points and 7.6 boards on the season. Quickley is shooting 41.8 per cent from three-point range in the second half compared to 34.7 per cent in the 41 games.
The Raptors will look to rebound from a blowout loss to the Phoenix Suns without their starting centre and point guard when they tip off against the Jazz on Monday. Watch the game on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
