The Toronto Raptors will once again be very short-handed for a game, as starting point guard Immanuel Quickley was ruled out for Wednesday's contest against the Sacramento Kings due to personal reasons.
He joins a lengthy list of players already ruled out, including regular starters RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl.
With Quickley ruled out, the Raptors recalled Jahmi'us Ramsey from the Raptors 905. Ramsey has played in four games for the Raptors this season and is averaging 5.3 points per game.
The undermanned Raptors have lost seven in a row and nine of their past 10 games.
Quickley has been one of the bright spots for the team since he was acquired in the deal that saw OG Anunoby traded to the New York Knicks. In 32 games with Toronto, the Kentucky product is averaging 17.7 points and 6.6 assists per contest, both of which would be career highs.
Their recent slide has seen the Raptors drop to 23-45 on the season, the seventh-worst record in the league.
