The Raptors have some extra bodies for Friday's home game against the Utah Jazz.
The Raptors have recalled Jamison Battle and Colin Castleton from Raptors 905, the team announced Friday.
The move comes less than 24 hours after the Raptors announced RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl will rest for the first half of a back-to-back set.
Battle and Castleton, of course, have far lower statistical outputs than Barrett and Poeltl for another game in which some will argue the Raptors would be better off losing to help their draft-lottery odds.
Toronto and Utah both are well outside the playoff picture.
The Raptors signed Castleton, a centre, to a 10-day contract on Thursday. He has appeared in 10 games with the Memphis Grizzlies this season.
Battle is averaging 5.5 points in 39 games for the Raptors this season.
Watch the Raptors-Jazz game at 7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet ONE or Sportsnet+.
