With the NBA Draft now in the rearview and free agency on the horizon, the league's focus turns to prospect-laden basketball.
The NBA announced the 2026 Summer League schedule, which will take place from July 9-19 in Las Vegas, on Friday.
The Toronto Raptors are scheduled to take on a trio of Eastern Conference rivals in the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers, along with a matchup against the Houston Rockets.
The playoff portion of Summer League will take place from July 17-19, and each team will play at least one additional game to be determined following round-robin action.
Toronto went 4-1 during last year's Vegas Summer League before being eliminated by the Sacramento Kings in the semifinals.
While this year's roster has yet to be announced, it's likely to be headlined by incoming rookies Allen Graves, the 19th overall pick, and Jaden Bradley, taken 50th. Meanwhile, Sportsnet's Michael Grange reported on Thursday that Ajax, Ont., native Jalen Celestine had been signed by Toronto to join the Summer League roster as well.
The Raptors also reportedly signed a pair of NCAA seniors in Michigan guard Nimari Burnett and Oregon centre Nate Bittle to Exhibit 10 contracts, lining both up to take part too.
Sophomore guards Alijah Martin and Chucky Hepburn — both of whom were reportedly tendered qualifying offers by the Raptors — could also be part of the roster heading into Sin City.
