Raptors' Siakam named NBA Eastern Conference player of the week

Watch as the Toronto Raptors' Pascal Siakam lays in his 50th and 51st points of the night before heading to the line to sink his 52nd, setting a new career-high and leading the Raptors to victory over the New York Knicks.

Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam was named NBA Eastern Conference player of the week for Dec. 19-25 on Monday.

It is the fifth time Siakam has been named a player of the week.

Siakam's week was highlighted by a career-best 52-point performance in a win over the New York Knicks last Wednesday.

In three games last week, he averaged a conference-best 38.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists.

Mavericks star Luka Doncic was named West player of the week.
