Raptors star Pascal Siakam named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam has been named the NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

Siakam posted a season-high 33 points, nine rebounds and four assists in Toronto's win over the Atlanta Hawks on Feb. 4, scoring 21 of those points in the first quarter.

The night before on Feb. 3, in an overtime win against the Chicago Bulls, Siakam tallied his second double-double of the week with 25 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.

Against the first-ranked Miami Heat on Feb. 1, Siakam posted his first double-double of the week with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

The Raptors are currently on a five-game winning streak and sit sixth in the Eastern Conference.
