The Toronto Raptors are headed across Canada.
The Raptors will conduct training camp in Quebec City ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season, the team announced Wednesday.
It will get underway with the annual media day on Sept. 28, before camp begins the following day and runs through Oct. 2.
“We have great memories of our 2019 training camp in Quebec City, and the opportunity to spend time in such a historic city, combined with the outstanding facilities at Université Laval, made returning an easy decision,” said Raptors general manager and executive vice-president Bobby Webster in a statement. “We're looking forward to playing our first NBA Canada Game in Quebec City before returning to Vancouver, which has become a home away from home for our organization.”
After camp breaks, the Raptors will embark on a five-game pre-season slate, taking them coast-to-coast in Canada as well as to the NBA's most famous venue.
Their pre-season schedule will start against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Miami Heat on Oct. 3, in Quebec City. They will then travel across the country to play in Vancouver for a second straight year, against the L.A. Clippers on Oct. 10.
“Every time we wear the Raptors jersey, we’re representing the entire country, so it’s always special to have the opportunity to play games in communities across Canada," said Raptors forward Scottie Barnes in a statement released by the NBA. "It's important to us that fans from coast to coast have the chance to experience Raptors basketball, and we can't wait to share those moments together this preseason in Quebec City and Vancouver.”
Toronto will play its lone pre-season game at Scotiabank Arena against the New York Knicks on Oct. 13, before the second half of a home-and-home with the reigning champs at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 15.
The team's pre-season will come to a close on Oct. 16 against the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena.
