Raptors' VanVleet, Barnes questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Bulls

Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet (knee) and forward Scottie Barnes (wrist) are listed as questionable ahead of Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls.

The pair of starters missed Tuesday's 125-113 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

VanVleet is in the midst of an All-Star calibre campaign averaging 21.7 points, 7.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals this season. The 27-year-old leads the Raptors in points and assists per game.

Barnes, making his case for rookie of the year, is averaging 14.6 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists, putting the 20-year-old rookie fifth in team-scoring and second in rebounding.

Toronto is 23-22 and eighth in the East.

The Raptors take on the second-place Bulls (29-17) beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet NOW.
