Raptors' VanVleet, Siakam move up in second All-Star fan vote returns

Kevin O'Connor joined Sportsnet Central to chat the latest around the Toronto Raptors, including whether or not Fred VanVleet will represent the Raptors as an All-Star.

Toronto Raptors star Fred VanVleet has moved from 10th to eighth among Eastern Conference guards in the second NBA All-Star fan vote returns, while Pascal Siakam debuts on the top 10 list at eight among frontcourt players.

Stephen Curry (4,463,426) and LeBron James (4,386,392) lead all players in voting, while Kevin Durant (4,088,334) and DeMar DeRozan (2,973,854) lead all Eastern Conference frontcourt and guards, respectively.

VanVleet has received 350,806 votes and Siakam has received 244,042.

Half of the voting totals by fans are used to determine the starting lineups; active players and members of the media determine the other half.

The NBA All-Star Game is scheduled Feb. 20, in Cleveland.

The Raptors are back in action on Friday when they head to Detroit to face the Pistons.
