Tyson Degenhart's stint with the Toronto Raptors was a short one.
The Raptors waived the forward on Friday just four days after signing him to an Exhibit 10 contract for training camp.
An Exhibit 10 contract secures players an elevated salary if they do not make an NBA roster and instead join a team's G League affiliate, in this case, Raptors 905.
Degenhart played for the Raptors at Summer League in July but averaged only 1.9 minutes per game. During his final year in college at Boise State, the six-foot-seven forward posted a stat line of 18.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game.
Degenhart joins Montreal-born Quincy Guerrier, Tyreke Key and Jarkel Joiner as players who were signed to Exhibit 10 deals and consequently waived.
All four will earn a bonus of roughly $80,000 if they make the 905 roster.
Raptors training camp is set take place in Calgary between Sept. 30 and Oct. 2.
