The Philadelphia 76ers are currently listing centre Joel Embiid as out for Friday’s Game 3 of the team’s first-round playoff series against the Miami Heat due to his concussion and orbital fracture, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

However, Wojnarowski also reports that progress could be made before tip off that would change his availability for the team’s contest.

The five-time all-star suffered the injury in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals against the Toronto Raptors when he was struck in the face by a driving Pascal Siakam.
