Just over 24 hours ahead of the trade deadline, action in the NBA is picking up.
The Philadelphia 76ers traded guard KJ Martin and two second-round draft picks to the Detroit Pistons, NBA insider Marc Stein reported on Wednesday.
Martin, 24, is averaging 6.4 points and three rebounds per game across 24 contests this season.
The 2020 second-round pick and son of longtime NBAer Kenyon Martin has spent five seasons in the NBA with the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers and 76ers.
The draft picks going to Detroit alongside Martin are in 2027 via Milwaukee and 2031 via Dallas.
Martin signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the 76ers in July.
