Nicolas Batum is returning for his 18th season in the NBA.
The 36-year-old forward is reportedly signing with the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-year extension worth $11.5 million, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
This comes after Batum declined his player-option worth $4.9 million.
Batum continued finding ways to contribute last season, averaging 17.5 minutes per game for the Clippers. He appeared in 78 games, tying his total in 2022-23 and eclipsing the 75 contests he played in 2018.
Batum spent three seasons with the Clippers from 2020-23 before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers on Nov. 1, 2023.
The six-foot-eight veteran reunited with the Clippers last summer as a free agent.
Batum helped France win the silver medal in the 2024 Summer Olympics.
